I am using Quicken Home, Business & Rental Property. How do get a report of the lease expiration dates of all my tenants?

Hello mlwolfe,
Thank you for bringing your question to the Community, although I apologize that you have not yet received a response.
Currently, Quicken does not have a report available that will display the lease expiration dates for all tenants. The Rental Property reports consist of Cash Flow, Cash Flow Comparison, Schedule E Supplemental Income and Loss and Tax Schedule. Please see this FAQ for more details.
You can view the lease expiration dates of one tenant at a time by going to the Rental tab, then click on Properties & Tenants and select Tenant List from the dropdown menu. From the Tenant List, select a tenant and then click Edit.
Then select Lease Details from the bar on the left and you will be able to see the lease information for the selected tenant:
You may also see this information in Rent Center if the lease ending date falls within the filtered timeframe:
Here, you would essentially be able to view the lease expiration dates for multiple tenants, if they were to all fall within the selected timeframe. For more information, please see Rental Property FAQ Series.
Since this report is not currently a feature, I am going to turn this Discussion into an Idea Thread, that way other users are able to vote on it. Our developer's review Idea threads to get an idea of what people would like Quicken to offer.
Hope this helps!

I don't have Rental properties ... but this sounds like a good idea to me. So, I voted for it.

I was hoping to get a report showing lease expirations that are coming up so that we may be proactive in notifying the tenants. I have been keeping that information in an Excel spreadsheet but I was hoping Quicken would be able to supply that information ahead of time. Or at least I could run a report showing all expiration dates for the next few months.0

Hello mlwolfe,
Thank you for providing more details!
Quicken does not currently have the type of report you are seeking.
I would suggest using the Rent Center to accomplish this. You can filter the timeframe to display 'Current year", which will show an icon for leases ending with all properties/tenants within the current year.
If you have not already done so, please review this Support Article for more details.
Thanks!

Problem is, once you enter a new lease agreement for a particular unit, Quicken deletes the name of the current tenant and shows the unit as VACANT! Please Quicken gurus, fix this!!0

I agree there should be a way of viewing/sorting the lease expiration dates in order to see when leases are coming due without going through each property. This could be accomplished by showing the Move in date and lease expiration date in the default tenant list. Both dates would be helpful for different seaches.0
