Finding duplicate transactions

Hi all,
Is there any way to find duplicate transactions in a register? I have a credit card account that currently won't balance. It's the first time I'm reconciling it in several months. I started going through and kept finding duplicate Seamless transactions - all the fields are the same except for the Quicken Downloaded ID. There must be more, because the account still won't balance, but using this manual process will take too long.
Thank you,
- Steve

Hello RSKadish,
Thank you for bringing this issue to the attention of the Community, although I apologize you have not yet received a response.
What version/release of Quicken are you using? You can find that by going to Help>About Quicken. Also, please see this FAQ for details on adding more information to your post so that other Community members are best able to assist.
Quicken does not currently have a way to automatically identify the cause for a difference when reconciling. Every situation is different, so no single answer will help in finding a solution.
Do you automatically download transactions from your financial institution into Quicken? If so, I recommend reviewing the information outlined here to help determine the cause of the duplicate entries.
You may also consider reviewing the information found here for suggestions on locating the cause and/or correcting the difference.
Let us know how it goes!
