My financial institution does not supply a PAYEE., so Quicken fills in WITHDRAWAL. What do I do?

My financial institution does not download (or even record) a Payee in my transactions. Quickens automatic Payee /namingrenaming feature always puts WITHDRAWAL as the Payee. How do I correct this?

    If this is a check, that is normal for no payee to be captured and sent. If this is for any other type of transaction, this is either an issue with the bank, or the third party provider (Intuit) that is performing the data download. Renaming Rules are the first place I would look to see if that is causing the payee issue. If you find Withdrawal listed, delete it. Depending on what you respond with will determine next steps.
