How about a screenshot of the window where you decide if the date should be added to the backup just before giving Q the go-ahead to make the backup?
My manual backup this AM had the correct date (QW Premier, 27.1.23.14).

Whet quicken displays at Back-up and date in my back-p folder does not answer how saved date was in fact 10 November 2019. I deal in facts.

Well, the facts aren't saying a whole lot.  Your screenshot does not show the portion of the proposed file name to figure out if the change happened due to a Quicken issue or something manually induced.

I supplied the screenshot that you requested. I can confirm that date and time stamp corrected itself on a backup I performed during the last 10 minutes.
