Issues with scanning receipts

    Have Quicken 2017 on a Windows 10 PC with A Canon Maxify Printer. Preview scanning of receipts works fine.

     The 'Scan' button to proceed with scanning won't work. The button is non-functional. I do not see the choice for using WIA printer. Effectively, unless I go through the hassle of scanning to .PDF documents and then saving the receipt as a file, then attaching, I cannot scan receipts from Quicken.

     This bug has lasted far, far too long and is prompting me to move to (removed)and away from Quicken after more than a decade as a Quicken customer. Please fix this!
