Lost my entries

an account which has many monthly different entries has now opened up, losing the entries and instead shows only one identical entry on a monthly basis for years.
How do I change this and get back to my varied monthly entries?

Check at the top of the register to make sure that there are no filters set.

Did you run a Search for a specific Payee Name?
If so, clear the Search box of text to return the register to normal operation.
