Automatic categories for downloaded transactions
I need to figure out how to have Quicken change the automatic category it assigns to certain payees. For whatever reason it adds "Dining" as a category to grocery store transactions when downloading and I have to change it manually each time. What I want to do is create a rule that assigns the category "groceries" to the payees Trader Joe's, HEB, etc. I have tried to do this in various ways but cannot seem to figure it out. Needless to say this worked flawlessly for years in the Windows version but the Mac version remains buggy for me. Thanks in advance for your help!
