Best Buy Credit Card Not Updating

I have been unable to refresh my Best Buy Credit Card account within Quicken as well as the Bill Pay area. Is there a known issue?

    If you are still needing assistance with updating the Best Buy Credit Card account in Quicken, please take a moment and review the information available here, and post back to let us know what version and release of Quicken you are using. 

    Please also let us know if you are receiving any type of error message or code when attempting to update the account and/or any troubleshooting steps you may have already tried.  

    The more information you can provide regarding this issue will help the Community to better understand and assist.

  • I am using Quicken Mac Version 5.13.3 (Build 513.30586.100). My OS is Mac OS 10.15.1

    The error code I am receiving is CP_SERVER_ERROR:cccapture.333:com
  • Just tried updating username and password again. The error message I am receiving is:

    I Same problem above but when I re-enter my credentials I get an error indicating the best buy credit card site is temporarily unavailable (which it is not).

    I noticed Quicken is trying to to connect to http://www.bestbuy.com. To access the best buy credit card site where I pay the bill, I have to access https://citiretailservices.citibankonline.com/RSnextgen/svc/launch/index.action?siteId=PLCN_BESTBUY&langId=en_US&pagename=authenticate#dashboard

    Is the Best Buy Credit Card link in Quicken "broken"?

    I'm also getting a CC-502 when trying to update my Best Buy account. Worked fine a few days ago. I believe it stopped working on January 1 and has not worked since.

    I am getting the same error when updating my Macy's account and Home Depot account as well.

    Have you tried this yet (if your bank recently changed their website or password requirements)?

    If that doesn't resolve the issue:

    • It is the bank's contractual obligation to notify their Account Manager at Intuit Inc. of any changes to their websites and download functions in a timely manner before the change is implemented.
    • The bank also needs to notify their customers of this change and any actions that might be required by the customer to regain access.
    • If they didn't do that, complain to your bank's upper level management.
    • Also contact Quicken Support via Chat or Phone at https://www.quicken.com/support#contact-support  and report this Online Banking issue, so that Intuit Inc. can be notified of the issue.  Ultimately, however, the bank must work together with Intuit on solving this update issue.

    This issue resolved itself. I did nothing, and it eventually started working again.
