    More details, please.
Do you use Quicken Mac or Quicken for Windows? US or Canadian version?
What version, edition level and release of Quicken are you using?  Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to get this information.
What version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?

Which bank are you having problems with?
How are you downloading from the bank? One Step Update or "Update Now" or download transactions from the bank's website?
Can you show us a screen image snapshot showing both what Quicken reports and what the bank's website shows?

Windows 10, US, Premier, Bank is Bethpage Federal Credit Union. I have spoken with BFCU and am sure the problem is not on their side. I use one-step update. I don't want to show a screenshot because I can not do it without revealing private info. However, "Current Balance" agrees with my bank's balance online but "Online Balance' as displayed in Quicken disagrees with the other two balances by $2297.75. This difference varies daily

The difference may be related to pending transactions, your bank may only be including cleared transactions in the online balance sent to Quicken.

How to attach image snapshots to Community posts (Windows or Mac)

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words …
Can you please capture one or more images of the parts of your Quicken window showing the issue, sensitive information blacked out as necessary to protect your privacy but annotated to describe the situation, and attach the image(s) here?
The Windows Snipping Tool (available with Windows 7 and up) can be used to capture a partial screen image and save it to a file.  Microsoft Paint can be used to annotate the image.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots
To take a screenshot in Mac please see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201361
Please create image files of type PNG, JPG or GIF only.
To attach the image here, start composing your reply in the "Type your comment" box at the bottom of this webpage. Drag and drop the image or, at the top of the text entry window you'll see a row of icons possibly beginning with B I S
Click the "Attach image" icon (the one that looks like a tiny landscape with mountain and sun). It will allow you to select and upload the captured image file(s) from your computer. The captured image(s) will be inserted at wherever the cursor is located in the text.

    guess not all that important....
Anyway - for an account that may have pending transactions -
there are THREE balances listed at the bottom of the Register -
Online --> reported by the bank of existing balance of cleared transactions
Current --> listing of Quicken WITH any non-cleared transactions
Ending --> listing of Quicken with future dated transactions or Reminders

Thank you. My problem is that the amount that is actually in my bank and reported to me when I go to my bank's site does not agree with the "Online Balance" shown in quicken. And the delta between Quicken and the actual amount in the bank is different every day
