I have been paying for Quicken 3 years

I have been paying for Quicken 3 years but can not make it do anything. I set up my profile and cannot go beyond that . What is quicken supposed to do for me and how do I make that happen. I had this problem a couple of years ago and gave up in frustration. Had failed to notice that it has automatically renewed each year so now I'd like to learn how to do something with it.
