Program not loading properly

Version R24.11 is not loading properly. Problem since 1/18. An update was installed that morning. Now the program will not permit moving between accounts and the top functions/prompts like File, Edit, View, etc disappear when you try to move between accounts. Get message Close program or Wait for the program to respond. Any help will be appreciated.
