Check register

How do I show the check number in the register?

    In a true Type = Checking account you will have a Check # column.
    In account registers of other types, like credit card, etc., you will have a Reference # column instead.
    To add (or remove) columns from your account registers, click the Register Columns gear icon, located in the upper right hand corner of the register next to the Balance column.
    In the Columns popup click to put a checkmark on the column you wish to add. To remove a column which already has a checkmark, click to remove the checkmark.
    Click the Done button when done with changes.
