Move a transaction on the same date

Sometime my bank make my transactions download different order than their online site. It's just transaction on the same date, but it make it difficult to reconciliate because the transactions have different balance. So being able to move transactions within same date would be very useful.

This functionality already exists, although it is a bit clunky.

If you sort your account register by Date / Order Entered, you can cut and paste transactions to move them around within the same day. The last pasted transaction will be the last transaction for that day.

I tried this cut and paste work around but it did not paste in a new entry - it just overwrote one - how can create an order of actions on the same date. i.e. - I have a $500 deposit, a $250 deposit and a $300 withdrawal all on the same day. The withdrawal keeps populating first but I want the deposits to be first.

@dcchick when you paste, you need to paste into the blank transaction at the bottom of your account register. You don't want to paste over an existing transaction.

I've had this problem for a few years . I have to move the deposits to a day BEFORE the withdrawals to not show minus balance and it is so bad I think about some other financial program .

Is there a plan to make software automatically list deposits before debits anytime soon? None of these work and I need to keep transactions showing their true dates as much as possible.
