Dialog box notification of upcoming (or past due) scheduled transactions

In Quicken 2007, a special dialog box would pop up upon opening to alert us to upcoming (or past due) scheduled transactions.
This was awesome, because it didn't require us to manually remind ourselves to check for upcoming (or past due) scheduled transactions.
In the new Quicken for Mac, it would be great if we could also get notified of upcoming (or past due) scheduled transactions when we launch the app.
Yes, we can see these on the "Home" screen, but that requires us to remember to manually click on the Home screen and actively seek it out.
