My memebership expires in a few days. I plan to buy a new computer within the next few months. Will the member ship transfer to the new computer and will I be able to download the new software again (to the new computer)?

The membership is not tied to a computer so much as your Quicken.com ID (QID). When you install Quicken on a second computer, you are asked for a QID, if it is valid and active, then that installation of Quicken will support online banking (downloading). The subscription policy says you can install on as many computers as you need (Win and/or Mac), but they will all have to use the same QID.-splasher using Q since 1996 - Subscription - Win10
-also older versions as needed for testing
