Print collapsed view of transaction report

Would like the option of printing the collapsed view of a report that shows grouping subtotals without the transactions. Below is a sample of what I can see and what I get in print. This would be useful for similar layouts of other reports.

Would using a Summary Report (with Column Time, Interval None) instead of a Transaction Report work for you?

If not, there's a workaround using Excel or Numbers, but it's pretty tedious.

Using a summary report is sometimes the answer, but not always. I agree with @Harvey Kabaker that there should be a way to print the report as it is currently configured on-screen. If a user spends time tweaking columns and rows to display what they want, it doesn't make sense that it will honor the column configuration but ignore collapsed category rows. It's easy to have some data in detail and some collapsed on-screen, but this can't then be printed. So I'm casting my vote in favor of this functionality request.
