purchased and downloaded current Quicken for Windows replacing old version

I purchased and downloaded current Quicken for Windows replacing old version, in January 2020. but now my wife says that each time she attempts to enter a transaction for 2020 and hits transmit, the transaction disappears.
How do I fix this problem?

    Is the register sorted in Date Order?  Click the DATE column heading to sort by Date.  Maybe she typed the wrong date or year on it so it got sorted somewhere else in the list.  Or you have the register filtered.  Check the filter settings at the top . Try this,  while in a register, click on "Account Actions", select "Sorting Options", select "by order entered"
