    What version and release of Quicken are you using? Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to determine year/version and release.  You must be on the latest release (patch) level for your supported Quicken version. If you're missing patches, update your software first.
    What version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?
    What error codes, error messages, symptoms do you get?
    What bank(s) are you having issues with?
    What account types (checking, savings, etc.) are you having issues with?
    Does this problem occur when you run One Step Update from your desktop or when you initiate a download using the Quicken Mobile App or Quicken on the Web?
    What have you tried so far to resolve the issue?

    been happening for 2/3 months now - windows 10 Quicken 2017/2019

    There's no such thing as "Quicken 2017/2019".
    Please do HELP, About Quicken and tell us:
    • The product shown there
    • The BUILD shown there
    • The "Valid Thru date", if any is shown.

    BTW, if you eventually need to escalate this to Quicken Support ... they're going to ask the EXACT same questions.

    Actually, it means that you're not going to get much help here ... because the other SuperUsers (designated by Quicken themselves) will ask the same questions.

    which implies you are NOW running Q 2019 .....

    Either you had the BFCU account setup in Quicken or not - which ?
    Then, after it was setup - it would download or not - which ?
