PayPal sync been returning error CC-502 for almost a week now

I searched this community support site for help and do not see anyone posting this as an ongoing problem within the last few days. There were some discussions in January about this and a recommended course of action to try the following:

Refresh your account information
Open the transaction register for the account with the error message.
Click the Gear Icon in the upper right of the register and select Update Now.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Repeat these steps for each account with this error.

I tried this for the last 3 days but still get the CC-502 error each time.
