Bug in date field on reconcile

When reconciling my savings account, when tabbing into the date field of a bank charge, I have to completely clear the field then type in the date. Every other date field I encounter works as expected. This is the only one I notice that I have to clear the date field first to type in a date. (If not using the choose to choose a date on the calender.)
