Windows10 Quicken R24.14
Has anyone else had this happen:
Quicken crashes when you:
After a One Step Update and you try to do a backup
Or
After a One Step Update and you try close quicken by clicking the red X
Restart program and do a backup or close program it fuctions as it should.
For One Step Update it appears that the file will not close.

If the issue doesn't reproduce on other data files using the program in your environment, the implications is there's something about your data file triggering the issue.
If the issue reproduces on other data files using the program in your environment, I would suggest you perform a clean uninstall, install and update. If you haven’t already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/using-qcleanui-uninstall-quicken
If the issue persists, I would suggest testing RAM and disk, then attempting to reproduce the issue after a Safe boot and incrementally adding the services to determine whether a specific service you're running is triggering the issue you're experiencing.5
