Microsoft Office 365 Compatibility - 32bit vs 64bit

When will Quicken catch up with modern technology?
You have customers paying for a subscription for a program that you cannot update to work with current software platforms. Why?
It would be nice to sync Quicken with Outlook. But you refuse or fail to update your program to work with the most recent software platforms.
Unless you prefer to lose customers to competitors. Because I am sure I can find another program to spend my money on that will work with Microsoft Office 365.

In reality Quicken will work with MS Office 365, but only if you install the 32-bit version.
Quicken is a 32-bit program and even though it is possible for a 32-bit program to talk to a 64-bit Outlook clearly the method they are using doesn't work.

I do believe that the generation of Excel files does work which proves that it can be done, but they have never gone back and fixed the Outlook connection as far as I know.  I personally don't use this feature and in fact I'm running the 32-bit version of Office 365 for other reasons (there really isn't any difference between Office 365 64-bit and 32-bit at least until you have to deal with very large spreadsheets.)

P.S.  I have written programs (32-bit) that talk to both Outlook and Excel  and work just fine with the 64-bit Office 365 (or 32-bit), so I know for a fact it can work, but clearly they are using an old interface for at least some of this that doesn't work.
