exporting cvs file not importing into excel correctly

I'm on OS 10.15.2 w/ Quicken 5.15.1 and when I export a .cvs report from Quicken and import into Office Excel, the file is NOT tab delineated. Everything is in one column? What am I doing wrong? What is the fix?

Exactly which report are you starting with? Can you post a (redacted) screenshot?

And how are you opening the .csv file in Excel? Depending on which version you have, dragging the .csv file onto the Excel icon may not work correctly; have you tried launching Excel, selecting File > Open, and then selecting the .csv file?
