Where is Quicken Essentials

I can't open my file and I the first step of the instructions I get is to "go to Quicken Essentials". I cannot find Quicken Essentials, can anyone help me?

    What happened on your Mac?
    Did you upgrade to a new version of Mac OS?
    Did you buy a new Mac (with a new version of Mac OS)?
    Actually, what version of Mac OS do you have?
    And what version of Quicken is installed?
    Quicken Essentials has been retired several years ago and no longer runs on the newer versions of Mac OS.
    A little more information would be helpful.
