Quicken Inc. Charges On My Credit Account

Overnight, Quicken Inc. hit my credit card with two $1 charges. I'm not due to renew my Quicken account until April 5. I hope this is some kind of test transaction, and not some hacker probing my account. Why do you think it's necessary to do this, if in fact that's what you are doing?
By the way, I was unable to click on any useful category for this "Ask A Question.(Removed-Disruptive/Inaccurate)

I was thinking the same thing that maybe someone is hacking every quicken user for a $1 charge. It would be logical for Quicken to send out a notice to inform users that there will be a pending charge to verify your payment account.
