How can I use the mobile app when I cannot sync with my pc?

My laptop is getting repaired so I want to use the mobile app but cannot sync.

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue, although I apologize that you haven't received a response.

    Have you previously enable the Quicken data file to sync to the mobile app?


    If this the mobile app was not enabled for sync prior, unfortunately, there is no way to enable this set up without using the desktop application of Quicken.

    I am unable to open the data file I found on my pc with the app unless I replace the mobile app data with the old data files on my pc. What can I do to recover whatever the latest files are?
    my pc was down for quite some time so the pc data files is older but I am afraid to replace the cloud files with this data. I guess I might have to lose everything and start from scratch?

    Before proceeding any further, what does the message say when you attempt to open the file?

    What happens when you attempt to open Quicken by clicking on the app and not the data file?
