Quicken Delux for Windows

Quicken Delux for Windows keeps freezing on me after I update my accounts online. It's study in the Online Update Account list permanently. I ran Validate my account and it found no errors. I tried on both my desktop and laptop. Same results. Also, the program keeps changing my default view. Everytime I reopen it, it's back to the view without the helper icons on the second line.

    Please provide the year and version of Quicken being used: select Help > About Quicken

    Regarding the hang, I suggest you attempt to determine which action Quicken is stuck on by adjusting the One Step Update Settings.

    Regarding the toolbar, I suggest you check the preference setting:  select Edit > Preferences...

    What is the path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file? Do you have Controlled Folder Access enabled in Windows Defender? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup?
