    Hi @""Don Mullen" ,

    Before you open Quicken for the day, disabled your Network Adapter. So you are offline. Leave that Window, open.
    Open Quicken. Once Quicken is fully populated,
    enable your Network Adapter. Now you can close the other windows.

    If you made a mistake and close Quicken, you don't need to repeat the Disable and Enable the Network Adapter.

    Just the first time you open Quicken after booting into the operating system.

    In addition, do you have Quicken set to Update at Startup? If so, you should disable it.
