Unable to update existing bank account

Account information is downloaded but will not recognize existing account and instead wants to create a new account

You can try deactivating downloads on the existing account and then see if you can set it up again. Open the account settings, then click Troubleshooting > Deactivate. Set it up again in the same place.
Another solution is to just go ahead and let it create the new account. Then drag all non-duplicate the transactions from the old account to the new one in the sidebar. You can then delete the now-empty old account and soldier on from there.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5
