Transaction Column

More and more banks are providing an online Bill Pay option. At my bank when a bill is paid using this option it is assigned a "transaction number" much like a check has a check number. The check registry in Quicken could benefit from having a transaction # column separate from the check # column. That way they could be incremented independent of each other.

    All that your banks need to do is to add the Transaction Number to the Memo field. No need to extend the OFX protocol for yet another field.
