The notice to renew membership is blocking data on right. How do I get rid of this w/o renewal?

I have been using Quicken for years, & have convinced many family members to do the same. Now, I have a renewal notice on the top (yellow) and recently another on the right side of my screen that is blocking my data. I do not want to renew, as I never use the online functions. Please tell me how to get rid of these notices, especially the one on the right that is blocking my data. Thank you.

Sorry you can't. See this page for ongoing access to your data if you do not renew the subscription. You can still enter new transactions manually, except for the Starter Edition which becomes read only and is limited. And about 25% of your screen will be taken up with a reminder to renew.

Or if you can find a copy of Quicken 2017, you can go back to the previous version with no nag screens.Quicken Subscription HBRP - Windows 102

Thank you. I have a copy of the 2010 & 2012 deluxe version. Will the data migrate to one of these versions if I install it on my computer?-1

This isn't for the faint of heart, but if you want to try to go back to an earlier version of Quicken by using QIF export/import here is a discussion on how to do it.Signature:

I (WE) paid for QD 2019 with rights to use it as is, and to continue to use it without interference from Q. They changed the rules. They violated our rights. Where's the refund? Or at least offer a free upgrade and then we know the rules going forward (2021).0

If you have 2019 you should be able to still download transactions. They only just sunsetted 2017. If you paid for 2019 are you using it? Did you download and install it?

Yes, have 2019. I have used QDeluxe since 1996 (24 years?). Upgrade to new version every 2-3 years when support ends. The issue now is the blatant yellow band on the screentop "Membership Expired ...," and another "Notice ..." on the right side screen. I don't particularly care about downloading or uploading transactions or bank syncing. It is (should be) my choice whether or not to use that feature. I just want accounting without my screen being garbaged up with threat notices and I MUST upgrade. Fine, take away the upload/download feature. I received notice of that. It should be my choice of whether to upgrade.1

p.s. Yes, I always install it from CD. And no, transactions are no longer downloadable from financial institutions... nor are stock quotes downloadable (updateable). No problem ... I no longer absolutely need this feature. Q used to support updates for at least a couple of years. Now they arbitrarily tells us that the 2019 version has zero support! And to top it off, they place Notices on the top and side of the program screen. Outrageous!0

@scotti, please do HELP, About Quicken and tell us what BUILD of the product is shown there. Also, what's the "Valid Thru" date shown there?

This isn't true. One could easily buy "Quicken 2019" starting in October of 2018, and as such with a year subscription have it expire by now. It entirely depends on keeping an up to date subscription. It sounds like Scotti has let the subscription lapse, and as such can't download transactions, and will get the banners that push him to pay for the subscription.Signature:
