I have Quicken 2016 Home & Business...

One of the TFSA shows a securities value that does not exist. How do I remove it ?

Do you mean that a single price in the security's price history is incorrect? If I'm interpreting your question correctly, it's easy to fix.
    1. Tools > Security List (or CTRL-Y)
    2. Click on the security name.
    3. In the resulting Security Detail View, click Update, then Edit Price History.
    4. Locate the incorrect entry and either edit it or delete it.
If your problem is something different, we'll need more details.

cannot find the culprit on the list - in fact I never entered any securities. It just appeared one day.

It is only a TFSA bank account with nothing else than a cash balance. But it now shows Securities value $5,000.00 and I cannot figure out how to remove it.
