I thought I read somewhere that this was possible, but I can't find anything on it now.

Hello @bbkansas,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
Yes, you can install it on both. However, the 2 programs do not communicate with each other and the data files also use a different file extension on Windows vs. Mac. So, please be aware that your data will need to be updated separately on each device. For more information, please review this support article.
Hope this helps!

Yes, you can use both versions but beware that the Quicken data file format is not compatible between Windows and Mac. You can transfer from Windows to Mac but Mac to Windows doesn't work as well.Quicken Subscription HBRP - Windows 100

Hi @bbkansas ,I don't know Mac, but know Windows. On how many computers can Quicken Subscription be installed?
With Quicken Subscription, there is no limit on how many computers Quicken can be installed on. However, you will need to sign in with the same Quicken ID on each computer as the membership is linked to your Quicken ID. Also, a purchase of Quicken Subscription includes a copy of Quicken for Windows and a copy of Quicken for Mac.You must use the same Quicken User ID and password for all installations. The Data Files are not interchangeable, currently, so you need to do dual bookkeeping or convert the data files each time: https://www.quicken.com/support/converting-quicken-windows-quicken-mac-2016Activate Windows, first then download the Mac from your Quicken Account at: https://www.quicken.com/
