I would suggest using QCleanUI to remove and reinstall Quicken.

    Hi @Bigal22353 ,

If you don't want any  more headaches, I would suggest if you purchased from Quicken.com, that you follow this procedure:  https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editions

    Don't skip a step.

I got hold of Quicken this morning and they walked me through the fix. Thanks for your support. I have printed out your solution in case I need it.

I also have reservations about the subscription model.
What happens if in the future I can't afford to keep the subscription up?

Can I export my data to another program?
Is it possible I would lose access to my own financial information if I don't continue the yearly payments to Quicken?
Even if you answer these questions now, can you change your terms in the future so I may be in danger losing the ability to run the program and access my information

In the past, Quicken had export abilities, which protected from dangers such as these.

How are these concerns being handled now?
