Can’t change Quicken Community email address

I would like to change the email address and user name that I use to login to the Quicken Community website. When I go to my account profile to make these changes I get an error message that says That username is already taken. The username I am trying to use is my email address.So I try to login using that email address and click the forgot my password option and get another error message that says the email address is not found in the system. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this situation. I am currently log in with Username “Lynn” email address I would like to change my username name and email to (Removed-Privacy)

    You cannot use an Email Address for a Username.It can be simply lwidgill .But you do log in with your Email Address and Password.

    It is a Security Issue.

    The post you refer to is for Windows I am using a Mac Subscription version. as well I believe your post is for someone who wants to create a Quicken account I want to modify a Quicken Community account.

    Hi @Lynn ,

    See the Email in your Inbox from @Quicken_Tyka .

    To modify / change your Email Address, you can do it, yourself.

    Click the top Left Gear of this page, called Account Options. Then click Edit Profile.

    Type in your Email Address, over your existing Email Address and click Save.

    Sign out and Sign back in using your New Email Address.

    For changing your Username, that must be done by a Quicken Moderator, like Quicken_Tyka.
