UMB Bank: Bill Manager Billing account "successfully added" but it cannot process quickpay

Has anyone else encountered this? I am unable to use my UMB bank as an online biller, even though it says "Your bill has been successfully added but your next amount due is not yet available from your biller. You should get the latest due date and amount when your bill is available. Try again". When I try again, I have to repeat all the information I've already sent them. I'm able to see my next due date and amount on the UMB website. I had to resort to checkpay, but am disappointed that UMB is not acting as an online biller when it should be. Any advice?

    And by the way, the action column for UMB just says "Try Again" and does not give Quick Pay as an option, only "Refresh bill", "Link to Reminder", or "Go to Biller Website"

    Hello Sasha's Mom,
    You noted that, in the Bills & Income tab, Quick Pay is not an option in the Action column, on the row for UMB bank. Are you trying to pay a UMB bank credit card bill, or something else? Does the Current Bill column show you the current amount due/due date for UMB bank?
    So we might be better able to help you, what edition/version/build of Quicken are you using? (Help > About Quicken)

    From what you have written thus far, it seems as though the set-up for Quicken Bill Manager may not yet be complete. Please review and verify each step in this article to make sure QBM Quick Pay is fully enabled.
    Next, please review and verify each step of this article to trigger a Quick Pay payment.

    If the QBM and Quick Pay are set up correctly, on the UMB bank row, in the Current Bill column, it still does not show the correct amount due/due date, then you may have to contact support directly for additional help in getting the Current Bill information downloaded into Quicken.

    Hello Quicken Hugh, sincere thanks for such a prompt response.
    My Quicken version is Quicken Premier, Year 2020, Version R26.23, Build And you are correct -- this Biller is my UMB credit card.

    To check installation, I'll try re-installing the account (may not have a chance until tomorrow) and let you know how it goes. Thank you again for your kind attention to my question.

    Hello Hugh. you asked "Does the Current Bill column show you the current amount due/due date for UMB bank?" -- Answer: NO, not even after deleting and re-installing the UMB Biller account.
    I spoke with UMB online tech team today. They advises that over the past 2 months the online interface between UMB and Quicken has been evolving and under revision. They said that anything (such as the online Biller for the credit card) I set up via Direct Connect over the past month or 2 would likely have problems until these issues are resolved between the two organizations. Apparently someone involved in the UMB/Quicken transition created 1-2 alternative names to "UMB Bank" and that there was inherent confusion in the online interface which they were working together to resolve. They worked with me to refresh my Direct Connect connection, in the hopes that it would facilitatemy One Step Update with UMB for my checking/banking accounts, but so far has not helped with this new Biller Setup (I'm still getting that same message about the account being set up but they can't locate my online balance". So unless you think that Quicken Support could still add some help, I I'll just stick with Check Pay for this credit card account and try again in a few weeks.
