The Quicken Starter Edition is able access accounts that require 2 step authentication.  The issue you are experiencing may be specific to financial institution and connection methods involved.

    HI @ sykes74,

You don't, you download and run https://download.quicken.com/windows/Quicken.exe

Incorrect. The previous version of Starter Edition worked and allowed for 2 step authentication. The latest version does not.

So, I say again, why does the latest version of Quicken Starter Edition not work with an account that requires 2 step authentication? Where is the answer?

Also, by way of observation, Sweet Bull's question isn't related to why the latest version of Quicken Starter Edition will not allow for 2 step authentication.
