Allow PDF Attachments to be Synced to Quicken on the Web

Currently, only image files are synced to Quicken on the Web. Other files types, most usefully PDF, TXT are not supported though they can be attached to transactions in standard Quicken. There are myriad PDF open source viewers available so dev cost is not an issue. Most receipts from utilities and online shopping sites come in PDF.

I’d really like to be able to add PDF’s attachments from my iPad and iPhone. It would be drop dead easy to do.

Quicken web app currently supports attaching .PDF and it does sync back to Quicken desktop. However we don't support this on mobile / iPad apps. We are working on that.

On-line receipts, check images, etc. are almost always delivered as pdf files and are most commonly attached to Quicken transactions as such without going through an extraneous, inconvenient image conversion step. The ability to view those attachments in Qmobile would be a very desirable enhancement to the product and should be easily and economically implemented. The long delay in implementing the ability in Qmobile to even recognize the existence of a pdf attachment does not speak well of your customer service.

Quicken Windows implemented syncing PDF files in R38.25.
