Hi: So i have just used a RRSP account as the account type. It essentially works the same as a tax deferred account. I just put RIF in the Account name and Description.6

Is this what you mean....A registered retirement income fund (RRIF) is a tax-deferred retirement plan under Canadian tax law. Individuals use an RRIF to generate income from the savings accumulated under their registered retirement savings plan. As with an RRSP, an RRIF account is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Thanks for the response, but no. To be more precise, how do I set up a Quicken account for my RRIF?0

Understand - was merely adding a little explanation to the topic thread for those that may be reading along - but not have ever heard of a RRIF -Also updated the topic title - again for those that may not know -QWin Deluxe Subscription - Win100

Why would you change the topic title of a question I posted. The title now has nothing to do with my problem in Quicken. I know what an RRIF as I have one. My problem is finding out if there is an option within Quicken to add an account to track my RRIF.0

But most of us are USA users and don't know what a RRIF is. Adding more words to the title did not change your question at all.0
