How do I use quicken online backup?

I always backed up every time I used Quicken on thumb drive. Then I used Quicken on-line save. My computer died. Installed 2019 on laptop. Without current thumb drive how do I get complete register of transactions in laptop.

    There is no Quicken online backup, so I'm not sure what you were using.  They do offer a DropBox deal for Premier and higher.

    Where is your flash drive?  That's why you Backup to it.  I have several I rotate.  You need the file ending in .qdf or .qdf-backup to open.  

    And, If you are installing (or reinstalling) an older version you will have to update it.  Quicken does not have the updates for the older programs but One of the SuperUsers has posted the update patches for older versions (2000 and newer)  of Quicken
