Manual entry to investment account requires Premier -- WHAT?????

I downgraded to the starter edition - now I can't make manual entries to my investment account. That.is.RIDICULOUS!! Quicken promises you can access your account information and update manually with an expired subscription but not with a STARTER subscription? I don't need all the bells and whistles. Simple edits would do but not when stymied by
"YOU MUST UPGRADE TO CHANGE A TRANSACTION OR ENTER INFORMATION" MESSAGES!

Starter doesn't handle investment accounts. You need Deluxe.

I don't want it to HANDLE investment accounts. How about a response to my question from Quicken support?
Please don't tell me to call Quicken support. That's an OBVIOUS choice.

OK, let's try a restatement.  Q Starter Edition doesn't allow you to do ANYTHING (except view accounts imported from a higher level product).
You can look at what's there ... but nothing else.
    You need Deluxe or higher.
