Add "Last 18 Months" to register date dropdown (Q Mac)

I keep most of my register time periods set for "Last 12 Months" to make loading and searching of accounts faster. For most needs this is fine, but I have a lot of annual transactions and they don't always fall perfectly within the 12-month window so I'm always needing to take the extra step of setting custom dates. This is a minor inconvenience, but the change would be a huge help and it shouldn't be too difficult to program.

There used to be a "last year and this year" option. I'd like to see that too.

Does anyone know how to promote this topic? I'm surprised there are so few votes since most people probably have once-a-year financial activities and I'm not finding another thread fro this request.
