How Do I now download USAA credit card account to existing Quicken account?

USAA recently changed how its credit card account activities are downloaded. The method they set out on their website involves going into Quicken and setting up a new Quicken account. Since I want to download my account activity to an existing Quicken Account, this doesn't seem to work. Anyone else run into this? I expect the same issue has arisen with the bank accounts.

At a point in the activation in Quicken, it will ask about "add" an account, change the "add" to "link" and pick the existing account. You need to de-activate the existing account first.
-splasher using Q since 1996 - Subscription - Win10
-also older versions as needed for testing
