Include Transfers in Projected Balance

I use "Projected Balances" as a way to monitor cash flow. I have noticed it is not possible to have a "transfer" to an internal account show as a debit from the account you are monitoring in the projected balance. Since I need to monitor cash flow, even thought the transfer is not a debit it is a reduction in the available funds in the account I am monitoring. This would be helpful in being able to truly monitor the account. The only workaround I see is to tag the "transfer" as an expense category but that is not correct and produces false expenses.
