Unable to add payment account

    I believe I am having the same issue. When I attempt to add a payment account, I get a pop-up window saying "Could not add payment account." See attached image. I have tried using the "Copy from billpay" button to enter the information, and have tried entering the information by hand. Neither of which has worked.

    I also tried disconnecting the checking account from Quicken Bill Pay prior to enabling it in Quicken Bill Manager. It still gets the same error message.

    If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone and request help.  Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.

  • Solution: change checking account number by one digit then add payment account then delete and repeat with corrected checking account number. Seems like deleting the incorrect account clears the software to accept the correct account info. Works like a charm.
