Transfer Payment Doubled when posted to transfer account

:/ When I enter a credit card payment into my checking account as a transfer to the credit card account the payment is doubling when posting to the credit card account.

    Sounds like you may not have matched an imported transaction appropriately.  If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/handling-downloaded-transactions
  • Thank you for the information Sherlock, but I have been using Quicken for years doing transfer payments in this way, and this just started happening recently after one of the updates. It has nothing to do with matching because I don't do downloads to this specific credit card account. When I entered the payment in the checking account to transfer to the credit card account it created a double entry in the credit card account, but there is not a double entry in the checking account that the transfer came from.

    Can you post a screen shot of the 2 payments in the credit card acct?  What happens if you delete one or the other?
