Quicken scheduler password error

When in Quicken, I can enter my password into the Vault and download or update data. That works OK. But, when not in Quicken, and the Scheduler asks for the Vault Password, I get a message that I have entered the wrong password. It worked when in the program, why not when trying to schedule automatic updates?

    Hello @DSPetersen

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue, although I apologize that you haven't received a response.

We will need a bit more information to be able to assist. Please take a moment to review the information here and post back with the year and version of Quicken you are currently running.

What is the exact error message that you receive? Is it regarding the vault password being incorrect or is it possible that the message is regarding a financial institution?

Some financial institutions that require additional authentication to verify customer identity or that use expiring session cookies will also not work with Schedule Updates.

The more information you can provide regarding this issue will help the Community to better understand and assist.

    Please let me know!
