Mobile app doesn't sync with desktop

I hit the add transaction button on my phone but it never appears on my desktop. I still have to manually enter it on my desktop.
Why is that button there anyway.

I see no point in having an ADD TRANSACTION button on the mobile app if it doesn't really add a transaction on the desktop. In fact why have the mobile app at all? I could use Keep Notes to record transactions and enter them when I got home.
