How can I send money from my bank to a credit union savings account

I used to be able to send money to another bank or credit union using routing and account numbers. How do I do this with quicken bill manager?

  • Hello @Blister,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.

Bank-to-bank transfer isn't currently supported in Quicken Bill Manager. You would need to initiate the transfer through your financial institution directly or send a physical check to yourself (which you can do using Check Pay) and deposit it at the second financial institution.

However, I do want to add that although bank-to-bank transfers are not currently available, it is on the roadmap for future implementation.

I apologize for not being able to provide you with better news.

If you are going to go the physical check route, there is no need to involve "Check Pay", just write a paper check (you know those things you stored in the back of the drawer and haven't used in a long while) and hopefully the receiving financial institution allows you to make deposits via either an app or their website.
Doing this by EFT would be helpful, but currently no possible via Quicken.
