Memo Transactions or Reminders in Registers

Need memo transactions in registers; no amount, a simple note. For example, want to see the monthly closing date in a credit card account register. Normal transactions with a zero amount help, but Quicken keeps attemptimg to match a true transaction to the zero transaction. An alternative would be to include the monthly closing date when editting an account, then see a reminder in the register ( similar to the line that distinguishes today's date ).
